Women Have BETTER Orgasms Than Men, Says Science

female orgasmsI KNEW IT.
If you're like me, you've always wondered whether men truly understand the power of the female orgasm.
Well, now there's a definitive answer: Nope.
For years, our culture didn't even believe the female orgasm existed.
Because of that, we're way behind in our understanding of female sexual response. Our cultural understanding of the female orgasm has made it impossible for us to even began to evaluate how and why a woman has an orgasm.
Think about it... just a handful of decades ago there were people saying that women did not enjoy sex, continuing a long tradition of making the male orgasm the only thing that mattered.
Once we discovered that women's orgasms were, in fact, real we jumped straight from that conversation into a dialogue about vaginal versus clitoral orgasms.
Since then, researchers have been trying to understand WHY women's orgasms are so freaking amazing.
Now, researchers at Condordia University have concluded that female orgasm is more intense and varied than we ever thought before
“It is likely that women have an enormous capacity to experience orgasms of many different types, very different from male orgasm. The subjective experience of it is not necessarily the same for each woman, and can even be different each time a woman has one. Those differences span physiology and psychology.”
Yep. Women have many different types of orgasms. Science confirms it.

Yea, so, next time a dude tries to convince you that the G-spot isn't real, let him know that if a woman wants to, she may be able to have an orgasm just from nipple play alone.
Let him put THAT in his pipe and smoke it.
The researchers also posit that the reason we know so little about female orgasm is because we're thinking about it all wrong.
For years, scientists have tried to analyze women's orgasms in terms of how they aid in reproduction and in how they complement male orgasms. Which, unsurprisingly, has limited the way we understand women's orgasms.
The entire study supports the fact that women need to be educated about their own bodies (topographically) from a much younger age.
Young boys become familiar with their penises much earlier than young girl become familiar with their clitorises just because of how our respective bodies are designed.

Pleasure is something that should be taught right along with the rest of sexual education.
Armed with this knowledge, there's no excuse not to ask for what you need in the bedroom.
Understanding that women's bodies are designed to have deep and varied orgasms can only enhance your sex life.
Think of all the fun you can have with your partner trying to explore all of the different types of orgasms your body is capable of!
Orgasms are a given for men, but women still struggle, which is ridiculous given how perfectly our bodies are created to have all kinds of different orgasms ... and now we've got science to back us up.

The 5 WORST Sex Positions For Orgasm

The 5 WORST Sex Positions For OrgasmTo state the obvious, you can have mind-blowing sex without also having an orgasm. The skin-to-skin contact, the views, sounds, and the emotional connection you might feel with your partner are all part of the package.
But when given the chance, who wouldn’t want the added bonus of a big O when you’re getting busy?
Problem is, some sex positions make an orgasm hard to come by.
The biggest reason: "Many men prefer sex positions where they can control penetration and often these positions are not clitoral-centric," says Kat Van Kirk, Ph.D., licensed marriage and family therapist and certified sex therapist. And since more than 80 percent of women are reliant on clitoral stimulation during sex to orgasm, that's no bueno, she says.
But it's time for you to start calling the shots, friend. Boost your chances of reaching the finish line with these tweaks and tips to hit all the good spots, even in some notoriously orgasm-wrecking positions.
1. Missionary Position

Missionary
Watching your man grind on top of you and making eye contact can be super sexy. But your clitoris is usually left out of the action, says Van Kirk. Translation: no O.
The solution: Flip things around by lying on top of him with his legs outstretched. When you’re riding high, rub your clit against him as you move. Or, regardless of who’s on top, you can add a vibrating penis ring into the mix so you’ll both reap those buzzy benefits.
2. Reverse Cowgirl Position

Reverse Cowgirl
Just like with missionary, your clit is missing out on some love.
The solution: Use your hands or a vibrator to stimulate your c-spot while you move, says Van Kirk. And while you’re getting off, he gets a great view of you in action. Win-win.
3. Standing Sex Position

Standing Sex
Doing it vertical style is hot in the movies, but logistically challenging IRL. Your heights and the angle of penetration just aren't very orgasm-friendly, says Van Kirk.
The solution: Prop one leg up on a chair or another piece of furniture to combat the height difference, and open your legs wider so that your guy can wrap his arm around or under you to stimulate your clitoris during sex. You can also low-five yourself from this angle if he's not doing it for you.
4. Doggy Position

Doggy
Like the others, there’s no easy clitoral contact with this sex position, and some women report that their partners go too deep while doing it doggy, which can be painful, says Van Kirk.
The solution: Let your partner know he's going too far, or place your hand at the base of his penis to limit his penetration. "This is a good position to find the best way to stimulate your G-spot," says Van Kirk. "Your best bet is to have him use short, quick, consistent thrusts," she says. And if you’re looking for some clitoral action, you can reach back with your hands or a vibrator.
5. Spooning Position

Spooning
It’s a favorite for mornings when you’re feeling lazy, or for some close-contact action, but it doesn’t provide the best angle for your orgasm, says Van Kirk.
The solution: While you’re spooning, raise your top leg up and hold it or rest it on his top leg, she says. That makes it easier for you or your guy to reach your clitoris. Bonus: Instead of having him inside you, he can thrust his penis between your closed thighs, so that his tip comes in contact with your clitoris.

10 Common Sexy Dreams (And What They REALLY Mean)

girl wearing sleep maskSo, about that time you slept with Ryan Gosling ...
Confession: I'm always dreaming about BLTs.
But while I'm dreaming about food, it seems the rest of the world is dreaming about flying and sex, according to a new study.
An online survey of 700 people found that the number one thing people dream about (and want to dream about!) is ... flying. Well, obviously! Not too far behind, though, were "physical activities like having sex and playing sports."
We've all had a sexy dream, but what do they REALLY mean? Good news, I did the research for you! Behold, 10 sex dreams and what they mean:
1. You're cheating.
This can mean two things: 1. You're dealing with some guilt (but not necessarily guilt from cheating), or 2. You're experiencing some reaffirmation for the passion you have with your partner. According to Dream Moods, if those cheating dreams pop up before your wedding (which is common!), it represents the "newness of your sexual passion." So, no need to worry there.
2. Your partner is cheating.
There's a good chance that these dreams mean you're down in the dumps, feeling neglected or in need of attention in some way. It can also reflect some inner and self-esteem and trust issues.
3. Anal sex.
Yikes. Not exactly a dream situation, but your butt sex dreams can either mean you're willing to be obedient and comply easily or that "you harbor concerns about revealing your inner thoughts and emotions to others for fear of experiencing pain." Because what's an anal sex reference without some acknowledgment of pain?
4. Sex with a celebrity.
Let's be real: who HASN'T had a sex dream about Ryan Gosling or Justin Timberlake? Although it's totally harmless to dream about getting it on with someone you'll probably never even meet, if you do dream about having sex with a famous person,  it can mean that you have an intense desire to be successful and recognized for that success. Basically, you want to be a star, too!
5. Dream orgasm.
Have you ever woken up mid-sex dream only to realize that you were actually having an orgasm? No work, no effort, just a lying there in bed having an orgasm. If not, you're missing out! But even if you just dream you're having an orgasm, that's not too shabby either because it symbolizes "an electrifying conclusion to something." Yeah, conclusion to a good time. It can also mean that you simply need to get laid or get over whatever sexual hang-ups you might be dealing with.
6. Sex with someone of the same gender.
If you're straight and dream about sex with someone of the same gender, there are two possible meanings for this: either it means you truly love yourelf and have a strong sense of self-acceptance or—the total opposite!—that you have insecurities in your masculinity or femininity.
7. Sex with your boss.
If I had a penny for every time I had a sex dream about one of the many bosses I've loathed over the years ... what a wealthy gal I'd be! While at the time I thought it was sort of suppressed sexual desire for those particular men, it actually signifies "desires for authority and control," and a strong sense of empowerment. You want to be the BOSS.
8. Sex with your friend.
Similar to the sex with your boss dream, doing it with your friend doesn't necessarily mean you want them either. It can just signify the closeness you share, and that tight bond is expressed in the form of ... sex. However, if you are attracted to your friend in a sexual manner, sleeping with them in your dream means you're not ready to express those feelings, so in the meantime you'll being working it out in your dream bedroom.
9. Sex with your ex.
Simply—and NOT surprisingly—ex sex dreams means you HAVE to let go. If you're with someone new, but still can't shake those awkward dreams, you might have reservations about your new relationship or "your current partner possess the same qualities that you had with your ex." Well, no wonder this type of dream can denote reservations. Who wants to be with someone who was just like the last?
10. Oral sex.
To dream that you're either getting or giving oral sex, means you’re on the right path—just keep going in that direction. It also signifies your creativity, you artsy fartsy thing, you! But if you're giving oral sex to YOURSELF in your dream, it can mean you're yearning to feel satisfied with yourself. I mean, why else would you be THAT flexible in your dream?
